Football is hands down our nation’s most popular sport. What most don’t realize is that its foundation is undergoing seismic changes. Between the combined anomalies of NIL and the Transfer Portal, money has struck at the heart of this prized pastime. It’s become the wild, wild west out there and it’s our youth who will unfortunately find themselves beta-tested as this machinery mercilessly grinds away.

How we tell our story is simple. This film is an open-ended discussion on Cassel’s improbable personal journey and how it compares as a counter-perspective/balance with that of some social commentary on football as it undergoes a graphic metamorphosis and how it affects the lives of those in its clutches.
